This place is truly AWFUL ...I ordered a chicken kebab from the surly, jaundiced not very clean looking young man on the counter after thinking that the chicken kebab meat on the rotating kebab heater looked quite tasty...Despite my friendly approach he was extremely rude and obviously not happy in his work.He produced chicken meat from a heated container instead of slicing it directly from the kebab meat on the heater as I was expecting. This meat in the metal container was disgusting because it had obviously been overheated for a long while so was very dry and stringy.I was not given a choice of what I wished to have in the kebab, the surly young man just dumped a large pile of lettuce on top (which I didn't ask for or want) with one piece of tomato and one piece of cucumber and bagged it with a knot.It wasn't busy in the shop and I wasnt drunk or rude, so it was hard to understand the young man's morose attitude, much less, what on earth he was doing serving customers with this attitude.This place isn't cheap either, I paid 6.50 for my inedible dry chicken and lettuce kebab, and my friend who went to Cod on the Corner paid 4.50 for chips and curry sauce!My advice would be to avoid this place at all costs, the food is dry and tasteless, but you will be charged handsomely for it by unsmiling staff that don't look very clean.
What a difference 2 years makes my last review they were awesome .. tonight fish and chips .. reheated chips from yesterday.. cold i the middle dry hard .. anyone who has attempted to heat up chips from the night before knows what they taste like .. cheapest thing on the menu too.
