Well maintained historic hotel on the edge of the estuary. Large, well fitted rooms and a very comfy bed. The view for breakfast can be stunning!

Have stayed here over Christmas for five years. The staff are really nice and most have been there for a while, which I take as a good sign. The rooms all seem to be quite a decent size, even for single occupancy (as far as I can tell they're just smaller double rooms). The sea view rooms are worth the extra money, watching the sun rise over the water in the morning is lovely. The restaurant food is fantastic, and there's also the choice of the bar menu plus great food in the Working Boat pub underneath too.
Wonderful Christmas Lunch at the Greenbank today. The food was very tasty and presented beautifully. The staff was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.
