Me and a friend sat in the lovely shop for over 2 hours, I only had a coffee and my friend had a breakfast. When I went up to pay Ian, the lovely owner, he said it was all on the house! Amazing place to have a relax and the staff treat you like family!
My partner and I went there today, we both had ham, mushroom and cheese omelette with Cole slaw and side salad, which were delicious but would have benefited with the salad being served in a bowl, rather than on the plate with the omelette,as the moisture from the salad made the omelette soggy. I also had a Cavendish coffee house hot chocolate which came with cream, marshmallows and a finger flake which was very tasty The waitress was friendly and helpful, but the person in charge made the mistake of taking my partner's plate away while I was still eating, which made me feel rushed.
Fantastic service, the best vegetarian breakfast we've had in a very long time! Absolutely delicious just spotted a past review about steps to the toilet, couldn't actually find them! No steps in the building at all Will be back soon! Thank you
Visited today with our dog and sat outside. Lovely friendly staff, the smiley waitress brought our dog a bowl of water. We had cream teas; very generous portions of cream and jam, plus TWO scones. Delicious and so filling. We had lattes instead of tea and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend!
