Nice place to relax and watch music
Best place in Falmouth. Friendly, pretty staff, good atmosphere and two snooker tables which is amazing. Also an American pool table plus about five English pool tables. It's great to see people playing games and having fun instead of the usual boring pub atmosphere which is sadly the norm in Falmouth, it wasn't always like this. Blame the town manager - a beta with an expanding waist and a penchant for tat shops and imposing noise curfews - in a busy town centre! Who would move into a town centre and expect a peaceful existence - aholes from outside Cornwall who liked the place enough to buy a second home but wanted it a bit quieter as to suit their delicate ears. Never mind the character of the town that had existed for eons, if they can make a quick buck from skanky yachties then the fishermen can go stack shelves. (as a side note Cornwall also attracts fantastic people, most of my friends aren't from here and I really like that about the place) So, all in all the games room is a fantastic place.
Love that they offer free pool Sunday to Tuesday and reasonably priced drinks too. Never gone to watch sport there but whenever it's on there always seems to be a good atmosphere (although expect to be served a bit slower when it is).
