Small, pricey for the experience received, nice variety of ales and beers but lacks atmosphere.
Great choice of beers knowledgeable owner and staff beer sold in third half two thirds and pints. Some pricey but worth it also have lower priced beers . I visited on a Tuesday early afternoon and was only customer. It gets busy later. It is a bit out of the way but well worth finding. Very basic but clean and welcoming. I plan to visit again soon !
Like craft beer?The absolute best place to go for super fresh craft beer, including a huge range of Verdant. Located in a courtyard with inside and outside seating. The girl behind the bar was super helpful and really friendly, offering tasters of beers before we brought them.There's also a small but seriously well stocked shop and actually really reasonable prices too.
The first time I walked into Hand, months ago, I got an overwhelming sense memory of my favourite bar in Leeds, possibly all of England, North Bar, and Hand is easily as good an experience. It's a small, cosy bar with outside seating and lovely folk who really know how to look after their selection of craft ales, guest or otherwise. It doesn't hurt that they happened to have the last few drops of the incredible Nightfall on tap last night.
