Overpriced for the quality of food. Oh yeah, and they charge extra if you want to eat your food in the shop, which they refrain from telling you until you've paid.
Low quality food that would have been overpriced even it were good. There are a good few more bakeries no more than 30 Second walk from here. Don't waste your time.
Used to love coming here due to the friendly staff and hot tasty pasties but things have changed. While the staff remain friendly and welcoming the pasties are nothing like they used to be. Never much meat, have to get half way through to realise you haven't been given a veggie one by mistake. The vegetables themself are just a stodgy mush and the pasties are barely warm. What's happened?
I sometimes get a gingerbread man for my son here. They're good sized and pretty cheap. Definitely happy with that.
Really bad, paid 7 for a large and small pasty and must have thrown 6 worth straight in the bin. Greasy, tasteless and barely warm, nowhere near enough seasoning, soggy pastry. The meat was sparse to say the least and what was in there was too fatty (way beyond reason). I'm staggered this place is doing as well as it seems to. Must be the fact it poses as the Cornish version of Greggs that appeals to ill informed tourists that keeps it going. There are so many really good pasty makers to choose from, do yourself a favour and avoid this one.
