After raving about this place to my friends for ages we finally got around to visiting. I have been going here for a while and always expected excellent service and food. However today was very different! When we arrived a member of staff was stood outside the van having what looked like a panic attack. His boss 'John' came over and berated him in front of customers. He kept calling the boy 'soft' for being upset and used vile language against him. When the boy got more upset John resorted to smacking him across the head twice before firing him on the spot. At this point the boy walked away from John and members of the public proceeded to help him. When confronted by the public John argued with them and said that the boy deserved it for the way he looked. Absolutely disgusted by what I saw today and I recommend you go else where if you don't want to support a man who cares so little about his staff.
Excellent food and service, always with a good friendly chat. Absolutely love the burgers.
Fabulous outdoor seating with amazing views of the harbour, delicious homemade coleslaw and salad served with our pulled pork and burgers which were so meaty with no added junk :)The lady who runs the van was witty and full of local knowledge - a real gem of a find :)
