Best place in Falmouth for anything hair related & very friendly staff
Called up a few places in falmouth to try and get a trim and since it was Saturday alot of them were full. I called Rudis and got an answer with a polite and friendly attitude. (I think Rudi was the one on the phone). They booked me in for 3pm, I arrived early and was able to have my haircut straight away. I didn't know what to expect as it's my first cut since I've been in falmouth. I was Sat down, got asked what I was after. The hairdresser I had today was Kevin. Expecting him to get straight into cutting I was put into a comfy robe/gown, towel and neck rest. I had my hair washed with shampoo or conditioner (maybe both), which I've never had done while in a hairdressers before my hair is cut. (If you're wondering, yes I did have my hair washed before I came into Rudis. :p) With my hair still wet I was taken over to my seat where it was trimmed then got a blow-dry and dry-cut to finish up. Throughout the cut was a good fluent conversation with a few laughs including the other hairdresser on at the time (Can't remember the others name). At the end of the cut I had a good quality wax put in to get the style I was looking for. For only expecting a quick cut, I had my hair washed, trimmed in various ways to get the best result and wax added in to get the style wanted. The cut took around 30 minutes minimum but so much care was put in throughout the cut. The total came to 20 which I thought was far considering for the process my hair went through. I think Kevin deserved a tip for his work which I gave. I came out of the hairdressers with my hair dry, in the style I wanted and with no loose hairs around nor much if any in my hair! (which I've had from some previous hairdressers). Overall the staff is friendly, does their job well and I felt comfortable thoughout my first cut here. Kevin was very friendly, polite and chatty the whole time. I for sure will be coming here again for my next cut the result of my hair was great and what I was after! :)
