Lovely views to be had but the site is in the middle of renovations and needs a whole lot of work finishing off. Current facilities are very dated and new facilities are incomplete. An example of this is the washing up facilities where a broken kettle was the only means for providing hot water. Overpriced for what you get however Id like to come back in 12 months and review again when renovations are completed.
Went for a delicious vegetarian full English breakfast. Sadly, the last day this locally renowned cafe will be open as the lovely lady who's been running it over the last three years was closing it down that very day! Hopefully it will be open again next year.
On our way home from our second 7 night stay on this beautiful site which is fast becoming one of our favourites! Lovely relaxed site, great for children, amazing views and a caf on site.The facilities are basic but perfectly adequate. They are updating the showers, have new loos, but we like the old ones anyway. Only cold water for pot washing, but there's a kettle next to it so you can get hot water from that. In lot of ways we prefer it as we now wash up at the tent looking out over the sea!Zenara who runs the site is lovely, really friendly, relaxed, and so good with all the kids. She showed a group of them how to feed the chickens and took them into the coop too. There's also a playground where the kids always make new friends.It's really reasonably priced and close to loads of great attractions and lovely beaches, and in a very beautiful part of Cornwall.
Basic site facilities (being improved each time i visit) but kid friendly and relatively quiet. On-site cafe if you don't fancy cooking. Long rough drive may put a few off but nice quiet spot for some well earned r and r.
We have just come back from a 7 nights holiday. The campsite is so chilled and quiet. The views are amazing. It's a great place for family camping. It's a no frills sure with basic but clean facilities. Large pitches and plenty of space. We will be back again next year.
